What size stage do I need?
Start with what goes on it, not the room. A speaker and a podium needs very little; a four-piece band with a drum riser wants about 16′×12′; a graduation with seated faculty and a crossing lane usually runs 16′×24′ or larger.
How much does a portable stage cost?
Complete kits run from $569 for a single 4′×4′ speaking riser to $5,499 for an 8′×16′ stage with stairs and safety rails, with shipping included. Larger stages are priced by the deck, so cost scales with the footprint. Request a quote for an exact price on your size.
How many decks do I need?
Divide the stage area by 16, since each Direct Deck covers 16 sq ft. An 8′×16′ stage is 8 decks, a 16′×24′ stage is 24, and a 32′×32′ main stage is 64.
What heights are available?
Three ranges: 12–16″, 16–24″ and 24–39″. Choose by sightlines — 16″ suits a flat room, 24″ and up when the back row has to see over people standing.
Can I get a size that is not listed?
Yes. Every stage is the same Direct Deck repeated, so there is no upper limit and no fixed shape. L-shapes, thrusts, tiered risers and catwalks are all just deck counts.
What comes in a kit?
Each kit ships as a complete package: the decks, skirting, and the stairs or safety rails listed for that kit. Nothing extra to source before your event.
What are the stage decks made of?
Each Direct Deck is a 4′×4′ platform with a reinforced aluminum frame and an anti-slip laminated surface, set on adjustable-height legs.
Can I add to my stage later?
Yes. Every stage uses the same deck, so you can add decks as your needs grow, split one stage into two risers, or change the shape for a different event.
Is shipping really free?
Yes — free nationwide freight on portable stage orders. It ships on a pallet and you get a call to schedule the delivery window.
Do you accept purchase orders and tax-exempt orders?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and tax-exempt orders, and we can provide a W-9 for your vendor paperwork. Just mention it when you request a quote.
Do I need tools or a crew to set it up?
No tools. Direct Decks interlock and the legs pin in place, so two people can assemble a typical stage in minutes and break it down just as fast for storage.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every stage carries a 2-year manufacturer defect warranty from delivery, covering materials and workmanship.
